Let's see how this goes...

College life is crazy. There are always classes to attend, homework to do, exams to study for, meetings to go to, work, etc.; it is all very stressful and overwhelming! With all of this taking place, it is common that we forget to devote time to our Father. The Lord should be our top priority, but often, He is placed beneath our studies, jobs, sorority, and organizations. I know I am completely guilty of staying up all night to get my schoolwork done but forgetting Who made it possible for me to even be able to attend school. Point is, life gets busy, but we should still set aside some time to worship He who gave us life to begin with. Besides, prayer and studying God's word are some of the best stress relievers anyways! The purpose of this blog is so that those who are always on the go or can never really find time to make it to a bible study are still able to get in some devotion time. Each day (or at least most days) I will post a devotion for everyone to read. I encourage you all to leave comments if you have something to add, questions concerning the post, reflections on what it means to you, or an other things you would like to share. I think that it is very beneficial to see the thoughts others have about a particular topic. I hope that encourages people and helps with the struggles of time. If you have any particular ideas for areas you would like me to cover with the devotions please email me at kddevotions@gmail.com. I leave you with this:

‘Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ Isaiah 41:10
